We just returned home from Newport Beach, California and 2 days at Disneyland.  We had so much fun with the Thurgood family.  Here are a few photos from the trip.

Rice cereal & peas anyone???

This was Ryder's first experience with rice cereal.  He HATED everything about it.  There was more rice cereal on Christian and I than Ryder actually ate.  It was a mess . . . but a cute mess!

Ryder is just over 6 months old, 15 lbs. 27 1/2 inches long.  Our baby boy is growing up already.  He now loves his rice cereal and can't get enough of it, even when I mix peas into it.  We are loving parent life and are just trying to keep up with our scooting around energetic Ryder!

Ryder has discovered the power of his lungs not only for crying and screaming but for laughing.  This is the first time he has laughed like this and we were lucky enough to have time to grab the camera and catch it!

Easter Weekend in Boise

We spent Easter weekend up in Boise visiting the Keddington's - my sister, her husband and their 3 kids.  We attended their neighborhood Easter Egg hunt and Ryder was exhausted!

Mazatlan, Mexico

Last week we had the opportunity of going to Mazatlan, Mexico.  We are are lucky enough that we get to visit there with Christian's family every year.  This year was very different as we took Ryder with us.  This was his first vacation and first plane ride.  So yes ... we are the crazy parents that took our 4 month old baby to Mexico!  He was the best baby and we had a great time.  Here are some pictures from the trip.

Our First Family Post



As most will know, Christian and I do not have facebooks, we do not Twitter or even know how things like that work.  So we are definitely new to Blogging as well.  Christian, Ryder (our 4 month old baby boy), and I have decided to step into the modern world and let you know what our family is up to and post some photos along the way.
